Provides assistance to the Program Office in support of Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and maintains an organization`s communications systems and installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains communications equipment. Provides reports, completes requests for new service, determines methodology for installing communications service, determines appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications, switches, test trunks, test links and installs communication circuits. Designs, develops, and tests communications software solutions. Provides customer training of the communications features and functionality. Familiar with a variety of the field`s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field such as Engineering, Science or a related field of study from an accredited college or university and 3 years of related experience.
- Requires a Secret security clearance.
- (3) years demonstrated experience supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI.
- Demonstrated experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e., not for U.S. military bases or USG facilities).
- Travel be required.
